Something funny Ashlyn just said

While Tori was playing a PS3 game (not sure which one):

You know, Tori...Robots need love, too!

That is all. :-)

Urban Dictionary Meme

Urban Dictionary Game! (I found this on Zenmomma's blog...she is made of Win!)

Rules:
a) Go to urbandictionary.com and type in your answers to the following questions.
b) Post your favorite definition it gives you -- or just post the first one. (or multiple answers if it's just too funny.)
c) Tag 4 people. Leave them a comment telling them they've been tagged.
d) Those people, if so inspired, should do the same.

1) Your Name?
Paige: an awesome girl. She always is fun and hilarious. and very hott. and guys always want her.

guy:that girl is so hott she must me a paige.
guy2:omg yeah she definately acts like a paige.

also: A type of Chipmunk, usually found in Australia.

Oh Snap!! A crazed Paige!! Shes going on a rampage!!

2) Your age?
35: Means (male) masturbation. (Ummm...who knew?) Propably due the following joke:

Two men walk into a toilet. While man #1 starts pissing, man #2 starts counting numbers aloud. 1, 2, 3, 4..., 5, 6, 7.

Man #1: What were those numbers all about?
Man #2: You see boy, I like to keep things organized. When I say 1, I unzip the zipper.
When I say 2, I take my dick out.
When I say 3, I pull back the foreskin.
When I say 4, I piss.
When I say 5, I pull forth the foreskin.
When I say 6, I put my dick back in my underwear.
And when I say 7, I zip the zipper.

But the next day, the two men go back to the bathroom, and suddenly the man starts yelling in the bathroom 1, 2, 3,5,3,5,3,5,3,5,3,5,3,5!!!

Hey, I still got 30 minutes before my train leaves, I think I go for a 35 while waiting.

3) Your favorite drink?
Iced Tea: A uniquely American drink that apparently tea drinkers outside the US just don't get. Both refreshing and caffeinated, but be careful what you order -- Southerners like it really, really sweet.

Ah, iced tea. My wirewater of choice.

4) Favorite color?
Green: 1. adj. noob, unexperienced
2. n. Money
3. n. Weed, Marijuana
4. adj. Good.
5. The Color, Duh.

1. 15 Zero, Bitch. Get your green ass off my server.
2. No Shirt, No Shoes, No Green, No Service
3. Let's hit that Green Amnesia Shit

5) Birthplace?
Richmond: two cities; the most ghetto-ass shit holes

I got shot once in Richmond, California.
One time, in Richmond, Virginia, I was raped!

6) Month of your birth?
February: The month that gives women the best excuse to ask for expensive jewlery. This is also the best month for men to find something to give to women so they get a blow job without guilt.

"Yes, I will give you a blow job in February if you buy me that diamond on Valentine's day."

7) Where you live now?
Staunton: Staunton isn't defined yet

Hmmm...let's try my other home: Azeroth

Azeroth: a fictional place in World of Warcraft where Blizzard Games favors children and whiners over people who actually can pay for the monthly subscription and dont live in their parents basement.

Paladin: ZOMGBBQ!! that fucking shaman whooped my 13 year old ass in PvP!! *scribbles petition in green crayon to Blizzard*

9) Your super power if you had super powers?
Telekinesis: The ability to move objects solely with the power of the mind. Seen in zillions of suspense, horror and sci-fi movies and books, but there's yet no proof it exists in real life.

Wilma: Nicky, would you get me the second volume of the Kinsey report on the top shelf?

Nicky: Get me a ladder then! I can't reach that high, what do you think, I've got telekinesis or something?

10) Best insult?
Douche: George W. Bush, president of the United States.

George Bush is such a douche, man.

Tag, you're it! I'm tagging: Adesa and Gleamer, cuz they rock out with the Urban Dictionary, and anyone else who feels like doing this. Let me know if you decide to play!

ZOMFG! It's Rufus! With Elvis! On Sundance!

If you have the Sundance channel, you should record this...not just because it's Rufus Wainwright singing, and chatting with Elvis Costello, but because...well...OK, just because...

IT'S RUFUS, for fuck's sake!

Books to Delve Into, 2009

Shelby and I are working on reading lists for 2009. Funny thing is, I didn't realize Shelby was working on her own list until I mentioned that I'd like to pick up some classics (and not-so-classics) that I have neglected to read over the years.

Also interesting: we chose some of the same books!

My list is comprised of books that I've not read, and/or books that I don't think I've read. Take Wuthering Heights, for example: I'm pretty sure I read this back in high school, but I have no recollection of it. And another book, The Bell Jar: I skimmed through it back in 1990, picking up passages here and there for an English paper on Sylvia Plath, but again...no real memory of the story.

Without further ado, my list of Books to Delve Into, 2009 Edition:

Rebecca, by Daphne du Maurier

The Time Traveler's Wife, by Audrey Niffenegger

Anna Karenina, by Leo Tolstoy

Atlas Shrugged, by Ayn Rand

Wuthering Heights, by Emily Bronte

The Historian, by Elizabeth Kostova

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, by Lewis Carroll

The Handmaid's Tale, by Margaret Atwood

The Bell Jar, by Sylvia Plath

The Awful Rowing Toward God, by Anne Sexton

The Sound and the Fury, by William Faulkner

Oh, and lest I forget, 2009 is the year of the "Read the Good Trash Movement" This is one challenge I think I can handle...I loved the VC Andrews books when I was younger. Good and smutty, right?

Loving this

This one is my favorite:

Queen guitarist Brian May completes his doctoral thesis in astrophysics, proving link between rotation of the Earth and human females with ample gluteal regions

Shelby's take on Autism, and a beautiful picture...

Of course, I am biased.

Shelby took this picture, and wrote a little blurb about Autism on her Deviant Art site. Just a litte something she posted when I was at work the other day.
